Subjects were asked to rate the effectiveness of each strategy according to a five-point Likert- type scale.

The study land that the adoption of international account standards, the adoption of international auditing standards, operational training for accounting students during their college education, and raising educational requirements for accounting at the entry level to the occupation are perceived to be the most effective strategies for enhancing accounting affair and practices in Kuwait. These findings apply important implications for various groups interested in enhancing the accounting profession and practices in Kuwait.
